Overview of Discovery Helicopter Lesson
Prepare to experience the adventure of a lifetime or elevate your passion for flight by taking the controls of a two-seater R22 utility helicopter. Zipping through the air, learning to climb above the lush English countryside, and hovering in place, the Discovery Helicopter Lesson introduces you to the basics of helicopter aviation under the instruction of a UK, JAA-certified pilot.
Whether as a helicopter lesson gift, for a one-of-a-kind experience, or to take the first steps in becoming a full-fledged pilot, the introductory lesson is a hands-on experience and a fun-filled adventure in a professional setting.
The helicopters used are certified by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and safety is always put above all else. During the actual flight, your instructor will diligently take all safety measures and only relinquish the helicopter’s control once the flying environment is determined 100% safe for you to fly.
